Members of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Ilorin Branch, including the Chairman, Mr. S.M.H. Kosemani, alongside other executives and members, as well as representatives from the Muslim Lawyers Association of Nigeria (MULAN) and the Christian Lawyers Fellowship of Nigeria (CLASFON), gathered at the NBA House in Ilorin before traveling together to Offa, Kwara State, to pay their final respects to the late Professor Rasheed Jimoh Ijaodola (SAN).

The solemn burial rites were marked by a final prayer session led by the Chief Imam of Offa, Sheikh Muhyideen, accompanied by other Muslim clerics. In his remarks, the Chief Imam described the late professor as a man of unwavering integrity, a defender of justice, and a distinguished legal luminary whose contributions to the legal profession in Offa, Kwara State, and Nigeria at large were profound.

Sheikh Muhyideen prayed for Allah’s forgiveness and mercy upon the deceased and extended prayers of comfort and strength to his family and loved ones.

Professor Ijaodola’s passing is a great loss to the legal community, academia, and society at large. May Almighty Allah grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus and give his family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
