My name is Ahmed Olanrewaju Yakub, adult, citizen of Kwara State of Ilorin West Local Government, I am from Aliagan family within Ajikobi District.

My academic journey is as enumerated on the curriculum vita and professionally, I am a seasoned private legal practitioner with my law firm Y O. Ahmed & Co. Bashir Chamber, at NO. 22, oba MOHMOH road, Adabata Area, Ilorin, Kwara State.

I am an aspirant for the office of publicity secretary in the forthcoming 2024 NBA election, Ilorin branch and hints for my aspiration are enumerated below:

1. Since my call to Nigeria Bar in the last almost one and half decades, I have been a finical member of this Harmony bar.
2. That over the time of my call, I have my base for legal profession within the branch though the practice had triumph across major Parts of the contary.
3. That since the year of my call, I have been attending NBA Meetings, conferences, retreat, law week and some other continuous legal education within and outside the branch as delegate and participant.
4. I have handled and participated in several matters be it civil, criminal and election petition tribunals etc.

I am not unaware of sentivity nature of my aspiring office i.e publicity secretary because information is power, information is law and as well as knowledge however it is my believe that by virtue of my legal knowledge and experience I shall deliver to you a formidable service as your publicity officer and also by the grace of God Almighty I will also triumph and further promote the rule of law through my service to humanity under the umbrella of Nigeria Bar Association as publicity secretary.

Therefore, I humbly present to you learned silk, distinguish senior members of the bar and colleagues my humble self as your candidate for the office of Publicity Secretary in the forthcoming 2024 NBA election, Ilorin branch.
